Descry Bible Center is a Ministry of Avenue 54 Bible Chapel, and it is governed by the Church Elder Board. The Director of the Center is Rodney Hippenhammer. Avenue 54 Bible Chapel was founded in 1925, and our Elders are Mr. John Grist, Mr. Rodney Hippenhammer, Mr. Helmut Krieger, Mr. Max Krieger, and Dr. Larry Mellinger.

WE BELIEVE.

We believe in the God of Heaven, the Creator of all, who is one yet, exists in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in His Word the Bible which is His revelation to man an all sufficient guide for salvation and the Christian life. We believe the Son of God to be the Lord Jesus Christ who was fully God and man, and that He died for the sins of all mankind and then rose from the dead. This is important because all peoples are proud, selfish, and depraved with no way to save themselves from the eternal judgement of God. But, now one can obtain immediate and eternal salvation by believing in Jesus Christ as the Son of God who satisfied God the Father's claims against you when He died on the cross at Jerusalem.
